Michael Eugene Dixon 61 of Albany OR went on to be with the Lord peacefully in his home Monday September 14, 2026. Born June 29, 1965 to Hillary Eugene Dixon and Sharon Faye Johnson in Eugene Oregon.

Mike accepted the Lord as his personal savior on March 4th, 1978 during a revival service. He then answered the call to the ministry December 31st, 1989 and was ordained March 19th, 1994 to pastor the Albany Missionary Baptist Church where he faithfully lead the church for 32 years.

On June 16th, 1990 Mike married the love of his life Jill Aileen Young. The Lord blessed them with 3 beautiful boys Jacob, Alex and Cameron.

His love for the Lord, his family and friends had a lasting impact on all those that met him.

Mike loved hunting and fishing with brothers Ryan Newton and Walt Durgeloh. He also enjoyed playing with his grandkids, spending time with his wife, Church Camp and giving people a hard time.

Mike is proceeded in death by his mother Sharon Huckins and his loving grandparents Tex and Beulah Johnson.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years Jill, sons Jacob and his wife Brittany of Salem Oregon, Alex and his wife Tessa of Albany Oregon, Cameron and his wife Faith of La Grande Oregon and 9 grandchildren with another on the way; Jace, Jordan, Kaley, Hadley, Benjamin, Kinsley, Brooklyn, Annalise and Nash. His father Gene of Springfield Oregon, sister Debbie and her husband Lee Chase and their 4 children Brandyn, Kyle, Tyler and Bailee.

His funeral service will be held Friday, September 18th, 2026 at the Albany Missionary Baptist Church at 11 am.
