First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church of Springfield was organized on January 9th, 1960 by the Hillcrest Missionary Baptist Church of Portland, Oregon

- Define scriptural salvation?
Romans 10:9-10 belief with the heart God’s record is true

The red “x” indicates NO, they have either departed from the truth long ago or they were started out of churches that had departed the truth long ago. The others I wouldn’t give a definitive answer until diligently investigating their lineage, doctrine and perhaps the obvious key, their practice. Acts 18 and 19 are good examples of questioning to make sure. Even the religion of Jesus’ day were concerned about authority in Matthew 21:23-27.

1 Corinthians 5:12-13 A church must judge her membership prior to observing the Lord’s Supper. 1 Corinthians 11:33 instructs the saints in Corinth to come together to eat the Lord’s Supper. This can only be accomplished by observing it as a local body membership.
- What elements do you use in the Lord’s Supper?
Matthew 26:17,26 unleavened bread for leaven is sin and the bread is the body of Christ who had no sin
Matthew 26:29 pure juice of the vine, pure from the grape. The Passover and unleavened bread feasts were to be done with no leaven in the house. Leaven is needed for wine, beverage alcohol – Exodus 12:19
- Would you fellowship or exchange a letter with a church that used wine in the Lord’s Supper?
No – 2 Corinthians 6:14 light can’t participate with darkness
- Would you accept the Baptism from a church that was organized with wine (fermented) for the Lord’s Supper or after organization, began to use wine (fermented) for the Lord’s Supper?
Matthew 7:17-18 A people organized with wine for the Lord’s Supper is corrupt from the beginning therefore has no foundation, no good fruit. I would not accept that baptism. A church organized with decent order I would accept their baptisms before they began using wine but I would not be able to fellowship or exchange letters. Baptisms after their use of wine would be rejected.
- Which spiritual gifts remain in the Church today?
1 Corinthians 13:13 are the only spiritual gifts that remain in the church today
1 Corinthians 13:8-10 explains that miraculous gifts will fail when something better arrives
James 1:25 tells us what perfect thing it is that will come, better than miracles

Acts 24:15 there will be a resurrection for the just and one for the unjust
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 This happens before the tribulation
Revelation 20:4-6 Shows Christ reigning on the earth for 1000 with those of the first resurrection which includes the saints of the tribulation
Revelation 20:11-15 depicts the second resurrection for the unjust
- If a saved person is disobedient to God’s call to Baptism, and even after Baptism refuses to live faithfully for the Lord, will he go to Heaven or the Prison of Spirits?
2 Corinthians 5:17 a saved person is a new creature
Ephesians 1:13 states that a saved person is sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise
John 3:36 proclaims that the believer hath everlasting life, that is life that is forever
Luke 16:23 only hell or heaven
